General Meeting
December 3, 2019
Opening
The regular meeting of the Lady Roos Softball Booster Club was called to order at 6:31pm on December 3, 2019 in the MAC building by Sherri Whitling.
Present
Sherri Whitling, Dawn Morton, Courtney Skold, Nikki Clary, Monica Tidwell, Ed DeMichele, Coach Lemons, players and parents.
Treasurer’s Report
$10,656.32. Sherri bought whiffle balls and bats for tournament. Took in some membership and food fund monies.
Open Issues
No formal minutes to be read from the Executive Board Meeting on November 11, 2019. Minutes were posted to the website for transparency. Online Merchandise Store- last day to order merch will be close of business on 12/04/2019. Will look at opening again the first week of February 2020. Whiffle Ball Tournament- teams need to be turned in by 12/04/19. Team registration monies will be turned in on tournament day. Arrive by 7:30am on Saturday, 12/07/2019. Players will have wristbands when they check in and pay. Concession- stand won’t be ready until January. Will need to have it set and ready by January 25th for the hit-a-thon fundraiser and February 4th for first scrimmage.
New Business
Calendar for businesses will be a picture of all the girls. Size will be 16 x 20. Staci Thompson motions for every player to sell 2 business card ads at $50 each. Rosalinda Strode seconds. Motion carries. Deadline for ad will be January 17, 2020. Picture will be done by January 28, 2020 so calendars will be done February 1st.
First Scrimmage: February 4th
First practice: January 24th
First fundraiser: Hit-a-thon January 25th
