General Meeting
December 6, 2020
Opening
The regular meeting of the Lady Roos Softball Booster Club was called to order at 6:35pm by Courtney Skold in the WHS Library.
Present
Courtney Skold, StaciThompson, Coach Jeff Lemons, Nikki Clary, Monica Tidwell, and parents/board members.
Treasurer’s Report
Currently have $18,189.00 in account. Monies for software renewal were spent. New uniforms have been purchased for both teams. Beginning balance, $18219.00
Open Issues
Membership: $30 dues can be paid via check to Lady Roos Softball Booster or through PayPal ladyroosoftball1@yahoo.com
Outfied Signs: signs need to be sold with finalized graphics by mid-January.
New Business
Online Store: Delivery of merch will be on Dec 16th/17th in the parking lot. Any parent that wants to help distribute would be greatly appreciated. Store will open again mid-January to close at the end of January. Tentative delivery 2nd week of February.
Volunteer Opportunities: Current positions are available: Away meal coordinator, Concession stand coordinator, Fundraising committee. Raffles? Silent Auction? Basket sponsors by grade. Tournament coordinator (with assistance at the gate, concessions and score board)
Tournament: Feb 18th-20th possible co-host with Brock. Volunteers needed.
Calendar Ads: $50 per ad, business card size. Full color. Two ad commitment per player.
Pictures: Need to schedule picture for calendar and new banners for Varsity.
Practice: First day of practice will be January 15, 2021. Lunch provided for the players after practice on the 16th.
Hit-a-thon: Hit-a-thon scheduled for January 23rd weather permitting. Fan participation encouraged.
