General Meeting
October 6, 2020
Opening
The regular meeting of the Lady Roos Softball Booster Club was called to order at 6:34pm by Courtney Skold in the WHS Library.
Present
Courtney Skold, Ed DeMichele, Staci & CJ Thompson, Jammie Humphry, Roman & Kristi Cantu, Dawn & Derek Morton, Carolyn Lemons, Coach Jeff Lemons, Nikki Clary and Monica Tidwell.
Treasurer’s Report
Currently have $19,277.51 in account. Miscellaneous items were purchased for GoPro and training bats. Ending balance $19,068.98.
Open Issues
Elections for Members at large. Courtney nominates Jammie Humphrey for Member at Large. Monica seconds. None opposed. Motion carries. Nikki nominates Kristi Cantu for Member at Large. Dawn seconds. None opposed. Motion carries. Courtney nominates Carolyn Lemons for Member at Large. Jammie seconds. None opposed. Motion carries.
Membership: $30 dues can be paid via check to Lady Roos Softball Booster or through PayPal ladyroosoftball1@yahoo.com
New Business
Outfied Signs: We will have 3x5 fully colored outfield signs available for $1000.00 per year with a three year commitment. Have not heard from Price Rite Signs as of yet.
Online Store: We will have our online store open for 2 weeks in the fall and again in January for our merchandise selling events.
Volunteer Opportunities: Score board operators (Derek Morton and CJ Thompson), Banquet coordinator (Jammie Humphrey and Monica Tidwell), announcer (Chris Bartels?) Current positions are available: Away meal coordinator, Concession stand coordinator (may look into service hour fulfillment for students)
Community giveback opportunity: Look for opportunities to serve in the community as a team. Manna House?
Homecoming: line up at 4:15pm at NGC. Meet up at 3pm to decorate. Trailer provided by Dawn and Derek Morton. Thank you Jammie for the wonderful decorations.
Potential fundraising opportunity in the form of raffles during game. Look into possible donations?
