General Meeting
March 8, 2021
Opening
The regular meeting of the Lady Roos Softball Booster Club was called to order at 7:03pm by Courtney Skold in the WHS Library.
Present
Parents, players, board members and coaches. Sign in sheet recorded attendance.
Treasurer’s Report
January Balance: $13,675.63. February Balance: $26,573.02 Fundraiser deposits $15, 236.00 minus $2300.01 for t-shirts and banners.
Open Issues
Membership: $30 dues can be paid via check to Lady Roos Softball Booster or through PayPal ladyroosoftball1@yahoo.com
Outfied Signs: waiting on sign material.
Calendar: should be ready by Friday, March 12th.
Banners: should be done by Friday, March 12th. Up and ready for first home game.
New Business
Donations: are needed for the snack buckets that travel with the girls to games. Drink and water donations are needed as well.
Teacher Appreciation Night: is April 1, 2021. Plan to give softballs to the teachers chosen by the players.
Volunteer: is needed to head up Senior Night which is on April 20th.
Banquet: End of regular season Banquet tentatively set with two venues pending COVID guidelines. Outdoors: May 2nd at the Humphrey home “picnic style”. Indoors: May 2nd after 4pm at Northside Church on North Main St.
Motions: Mobile Hotspot is needed for Coaches to take to away games. Nikki Clary motions to purchase mobile hotspot for the team to take to away games. Monica Tidwell seconds. Motion passes.
Coach Lemons would like to purchase turf shoes for all the players. Ed DeMichele motions to allow Coach Lemons to purchase turf shoes. Monica Tidwell seconds. Motion passes.
